My sis saw these and instantly said "Natalie Portman in Closer". It wasnt on my mind when I shot and edited it but I definitely see it now! :D
I asked this lady if I could take her photograph on a cold and rainy Sunday morning outside the Mac store. She looked all warm dressed in her double hoodie. Not wanting to disturb her from what she was doing, and liking the natural look anyway I asked her to keep on with her text.
Lesson learned? Well I had asked a few people already that morning if they would participate in my 100 stranger project, and had been turned down. Two said they would love to but were late for work, some embarrassed by the thought of a stranger asking to take their photograph, others I thought about asking but then lost courage a second before asking. So keep asking is the lesson, even after several rejections there will be people who will say yes. As for her name, well I didn't ask... I decided to let that go. I'm kind of disappointed now as I think the strangers names are a great part of the story in this 100 Strangers Project. I realize I have much to learn about meeting and photographing stranger, but that's why I'm doing it... to grow as a photographer.

This is just a snapshot taken with a mobile phone during two amazing days spent in Mirabilandia :) it was my first rollercoaster experience! Terrific! :D Katun rocks! :P
