2nd October 2019:
I had taken something else for today, but this afternoon while Izzy and I were in the garden I happened to notice this cloud coming over.
Luckily I'd taken my camera outside with me, so it was at hand. I love seeing different things in clouds. It's fun.

My walk home from work takes me through the heart of Cardiff City centre, and past the Hilton Hotel where the All Blacks rugby team are staying during the Rugby World Cup. The atmosphere in the city today (Friday 2nd October) was really something quite special, with the streets full of All Blacks and Georgia supporters, ahead of their game in the Millennium Stadium. A truly wonder, carnival-like atmosphere, with a real sense of friendliness and fun, and an a journey home from work that made me feel proud to live in Cardiff.

Well I thought it about time I took another selfie.
I really do not like photos of myself, but one of my aims for my 365 was to also take some photos of myself mainly for my kids for the future. I hid behind the camera last time I did a self portrait, so thought I should take another one and be a little braver. Taken feeling totally naked with no make up.
If anyone has got some good tips on taking good (more natural) self portraits I would love to know, as I really should do a few more and maybe my irrational dislike of seeing myself in pictures may get a little better.

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi is commonly known around the world as Mahatma Gandhi and in India also as Bapu. He is officially honoured in India as the Father of the Nation; his birthday, 2 October, is commemorated there as Gandhi Jayanti, a national holiday, and worldwide as the International Day of Non-Violence.
My favorite quote by Gandhi is :- You must be the change you want to see in the world.

The date of the photograph is approximate, he is not wearing his Crimean War Medals which could mean it was taken prior to when he received them.
