Got woken up by a massive crack of thunder the other night on the 20th nov. it was 1:30am, I decided to jump into the car and get out and try capture some lightning. This is my 2am shot.
First time trying my 7D with the 14mm Rokinon, I was hoping to shoot a time-lapse, but the wind was too strong to let things go on their own.
"There's a light at each end of this tunnel" you shout

If you only try turning around
2 AM and I'm still awake, writing a song
If I get it all down on paper, it's no longer inside of me

As of late every time the lights have been out there’s been clouds…. I stayed out and drove around to different places. This was the last stop. It cleared up enough to catch a little break in the clouds where the colors peaked through

I took this picture at 2am in pitch dark conditions. The 20sec exposure (ISO3200) allows the camera to capture a lot of light the human eye just can't perceive. The picture is somewhat noisy because of the high ISO.

The monsoons are a crazy time in Bangalore. Temperatures are much lower than most parts of India, the highest staying just below 30 degrees Celsius for the most part.
There's always a constant wind blowing from West to East bringing in the southwest monsoon clouds. It generally rains during late afternoons to evenings. In the span of a single day you'll get sunlight, overcast sky, rains and cold weather.
And if you're lucky, you'll get such mesmerizing shots at night.
