Clearly this used to be from the fire brigade. I don't know how the Scania numbering works by the way, 113 seems to indicate a 3-series while that was only introduced in 1987.

Badged as a 142 but actually it's a 112 (what I understood). Another impressive Scania wrecker from Norway.

A cool spot with mixed feelings. Since you can just choose any number to be on your license plate, these non-mainland departements are usually from mainland France. And I don't think this 2series is an exception to this rule. Interestingly, newer Martinique plates seem to favor an aligned code 972 rather than the 9-over-7-type. This might be particular to mainland France, though. There was no dealer given.

972 = Martinique

I don't know the origin of this Scania but it definately is a 6 cylinder. I guess a T112. Looking at the print on the back of the cab it looks like an ex-Norwegian truck. I spotted this one in Belgium during an event in 2005.

This T-cab originally was used for hauling newspapers by 'De Telegraaf' but after they were all withdrawn from service this T-cab got an overhaul by it's new owner by adding a Kenworth Aerodyne sleeper cab (Truckstar Festival 2006).

Still quite some running over there.

His father used to have one during the 90s (one with a high roof cab) but Patrick v/d Mark wanted to have a retro truck as well (Truckstar Festival 2006).
