This photo was taken at night at the Rattlesnake hiking site. It fulfills the requirement 2. I set my camera on the tripod and use a small aperture(f/11) for keeping things in focus and long shutter(20sec) to take this photo. I tried to capture the stars in my photo which I eventually did but the cloudy weather made it extremely difficult. However the photo was still pretty dark after I set the ISO to 400, so I had to adjust the exposure later in the Lightroom. Although the weather was not very friendly, but i still got some decent stars in my photo. (Also, I set a timer to avoid blur of the image due to the shake of the camera when I pressed the shutter.)
Second instar larvae preparing to molt. This is indicated by the yellowness around the orange spots on the larva's back and head. Its skin will become more and more transparent as the larva approaches molting. This can take up to a full 24 hours. Some larger larva will adhere their prolegs to a surface using silk when preparing to molt.
