Abandoned Abused Street Dogs.
Happy As Two Peas In a Pod....;-)
Alright lets get right to business.
No# 1 Wife fell down a few days ago and has
been bed ridden. Slowly, inch by inch she's
trying to get better. For the most part I've
taking up the role as Mr Doctor Mom.
Now I take this responsibility without having
to be asked and I take it seriously too.
We both laugh as both of us are in bad shape.
But there's nothing more important to me then
No# 1 Wife's well being.
So the temple dogs were put on hold today an
possibly tomorrow too. If No# 1 gives me the nod
then I will be out at The Monkey Temple tomorrow.
If No# 1 hasn't improved and no nod is given then
I will remain home and continue my role as doctor.
Now for this photo .........................
Happy Rocky and Legs The Zoomer are cruising by
full of mischief and plan to lick my ears while passing.
Mamas leaning on my body so these two silly dogs
know they have to act all casual until within striking
distance then wham bam lick lick and a quick escape.
As Rodney Dangerfield would say ----------
"I get No Respect, No Respect At All" ...;-)~
OK,
I hear the service bell ringing
so off to serve I go ............
Actually there's no bell I just
like to check on her often .
The bells in my head ..;-)
Thank You.

Amazing day on the ice! Ice skating has alway made me nervous as I has visions of being skated over, skating over someone or cracking my head open. I gripped to the side looking like and idiot but after many near death experiences, I got the hang of it. It was lovely after that, gliding and watching the other skaters. It's a very New York thing to do and I am glad I got the hang of it. We then went shopping on 5th Ave and I bought a beautiful dress from Bloomingdales. Always wanted to go to that store. It was another beautiful day and tonight I am going to see Mission Impossible 4 with the family.
The RMS Queen Mary 2 is an ocean liner named after the Cunard Lines original Queen Mary, which was in turn named after British Queen Mary of Teck, wife of King George V. It does not commemorate the reign of Queen Mary II. At the time of her construction in 2003 by the Chantiers de l'Atlantique, the Queen Mary 2 was the longest, widest and tallest passenger ship ever built, and at gross tonnage (GT) of 148,528 tons, was also the largest. She lost the gross tonnage distinction to Royal Caribbean International's 154,407 GT Freedom of the Seas in April 2006, but Queen Mary 2 remains the largest ocean liner (as opposed to cruise ship) ever built, and her width, length, and waterline breadth are unsurpassed by any other passenger ship.[6] Moreover, the Queen Mary 2 displaces approximately 76,000 tons; the Royal Caribbean Freedom ships displace about 64,000 tons. The Queen Mary 2 was the first major ocean liner built since the Queen Elizabeth 2 in 1969.
Another photo in Fan Tan Alley in Victoria. A bit wider here. I wanted to get some of the detail in the window on the right side of the photo. I also like the bright blue sequence of trim down the alley

Thrust 2 broke the British Land Speed Record in 1980 at greenham Common.
It's 35'000hp engine was driven over 600mph by Richard Noble no less than 11 times during it's life.
This proved the harder of the two thrust cars to light. i really wanted to get the colour to pop and i spent some time getting the rim light on the top edge of the nose cone right before i was happy.
Thrust 2 can be viewed for free at Coventry Transport Museum: www.transport-museum.com/
Lighting info:
2x bowens quadmatic 3k heads cam left and 2x bowens quadmatic 3k heads cam right. Nose cone was lit with an SB-28 speedlight.
A shot taken with my 55mm f1.2 lens. Still using live view to accurately focus as it can be a nightmare!
This is definitely my favourite lens and I think it is because it is so difficult (for me) to control. With the lens being manual focus, it really feels like you are taking a photo rather than the camera taking a photo. So when I get a shot that I think is acceptable I feel like I have achieved more... If that makes sense? Don't get me wrong, my other gear is sharper and produces far better images with less colour fringing, but I didn't buy this lens to shoot at anything other than f1.2 really!
