As I have no need to propose to anyone, I shall jump instead.

66/120 Leap Year
and for WAH - photos taken in February
We're here visiting February pictures.
Felt I needed to honor the leap year so here is a little LEGO dude leaping over the year. Simples.
Today's photo was nearly a disaster. Just as i was about to upload i noticed the date had jumped straight to 1st March. Imagine my horror. Time to get the camera back out.
Having bought a bunch of daffodils I found one that was starting to bloom. Eager to try out the new cable for my flash gun I set the flash to the left of the flower allowing it to illuminate the petals
Recently remembered buying this bottle of wine 10 years ago with the intention of drinking it in 2020 for the purpose of celebrating the new addition to our family.

Chilly and windy almost deserted beach on this extra February day.
This image was dusted off (not much dust; it was only taken a week ago), for use on Coronavirus day on WAH.

Lots of spring green leaves along the trail at St. Edward State Park.
120 Pictures in 2020: #66 Leap Year (February 29th)
When our magnolia flowers it is a sure sign that spring is nearly upon us. Their inclusion in my Flickr stream is possibly now an annual tradition and here is this years offering.
I had so much fun making this with my girlie. It makes my day to work with her. We are almost done with cookie delivery and I am glad. I hope you enjoyed your extra day.

Day 60/366; Week 9 Theme: Flight (Feb 24-Mar 1)
Flickr Lounge: I photographed this because . . . well, because the pileated woodpecker is a magnificent bird, and he looked stunning against that vivid blue sky!
I was photographing wildflowers with a macro lens when this big fellow flew onto a tree, highlighted against the bright blue sky, but quite some distance from me. I quickly changed gear and got a couple of shots before he flew. Over the next hour I saw his mate and at least three other woodpecker species (at least two sightings each of downy, red-bellied, and northern flicker, and possibly a hairy). I have long noted that 10:00 a.m. is the time to be out (at least in my area) if I want woodpecker sightings, and today the 9:30-10:30 hour brought multiple sightings. I posted a few shots of some of the others later.
20200229_5259_7D2-70 '36' or 3+6 = 9 (060/366)
Tim, our oldest son was born on 29th February 1984, so while 36 years have passed, it is only the 9th 29/02 since then, so we had a special 9th birthday cake for him.

First day of con! First day of con!!
AND I'M A DISNEY PRINCESS!!!!
Those 2 weeks of stupidly intense sewing and painting were ABSOLUTELY worth every second of stress!! I'm so so euphorically happy with how the outfit turned out and I got to debute it on Saturday and I got so much love for it!!!
Jackson and I spent the day round con as The Princess and The Crack Head 😂
I absolutely adored twirling round con in my full length skirts, 10/10 will 100% be wearing this to every con for the rest of my life! XD
I had just the best day!!! I miss con so much!!!
Project 2020/366 - Day 060: Papaya
Cutting up a papaya and looking at the interesting seeds therein. Alas, not in the best of focus, indicating more macro work ahead.
