2nd day of Firebreak Lockdown here in Wales. This is the Weeping Cherry Tree in my back garden taken in between heavy showers this morning. It's not only the tree that's weeping either because last night I was in despair over people spouting venom in the news and Social Media about who / what is wrong, who/ what is right . I turned off all my devices and escaped into a book .

Orange daylily is a herbaceous perennial bulb in the daylily family (Asphodelaceae). Its native range is Asia, including China and Japan, but it has naturalized in Europe and much of North America (including North Carolina). The genus name comes from the Greek words hemera for “day” and kallos for “beauty.” This refers to the fact that each flower lasts just one day. The species epithet, fulva, refers to the flower’s reddish-yellow or tawny amber color. The plants are roughly 2.5 feet in height and width.

Nachdem die EVG ihren Streik am Mittag beendet hatte, lief der Zugverkehr am Nachmittag langsam wieder an. So kam auch HSL's 186 299 mit einem LKW-Walter KLV vorbei.
In Zossen hatten sich einige Fotografen versammelt um letztmalig den noch vorhanden Reichsbahn-Charme des Bahnhofs einzufangen. Denn am nächsten Tag wurde die Strecke für eine mehrmonatige Baustelle gesperrt. Der Bahnhof ist heute kaum wiederzuerkennen.
After the EVG ended its strike at midday, train traffic slowly started up again in the afternoon. HSL's 186 299 also passed by with a LKW-Walter KLV.
A few photographers had gathered in Zossen to capture the remaining Reichsbahn charm of the station for the last time. The next day, the line was closed for a construction site lasting several months. The station is hardly recognisable today.

Wow! This afternoon was some of the harshest light I have ever seen. This is not a black and white conversion, this is straight out of camera! Bondi Beach is still burning at 32 degrees…and it is 6:45pm.
