Twelve more images uploaded today from our Boa Vista trip. I didn't realise I'd taken so many and I hope you're all not getting bored of them. Not too many to go now, around 30 I think and in amongst them are some stunning sunsets. Well I would have them wouldn't I, although we only had good sunsets on the last two of our stay.
Back to this shot and I know it's a bit "brochure" but I couldn't resist the laid back island feel this holds for me. Sal Ray beach front.

My actual challenge : improve my shape staring from very simple model. This parrot as example : just shape from a simple bird base.
Boeing 737-800 CP-2926 of Boliviana de Aviacion arriving at Saint Athan airport on 21st June 2025, operating flight BOV6902 from Espargos. This was the final leg of a long journey from Bolivia.
HISTORY
First Flight: 15th Feb. 2002
C/Ns: 028246 / 1081
This Boeing 737-83N was delivered new to American Trans Air (ATA) in March 2002 as N317TZ. It was fitted with winglets in 2008. When ATA ceased operations in April 2008, the aircraft was placed in storage at Dothan. In May 2008 the aircraft was acquired by Caribbean Airlines and registered 9Y-SLU. Upon being returned to its lessor in September 2015, the aircraft was again placed into storage, this time at Goodyear airport in Phoenix. On 30th December 2015 the aircraft was leased to Boliviana de Aviación and registered as CP-2926.
Someone on Eurobricks asked how the pilot truck was articulated, specifically because in the previous iteration of this build I did note that it was r40 tolerant. I think it can technically still do r40, though I don't try it.
I've removed the running gear for this shot to make the "real" clearances more apparent. The engine is sitting on r40 track with all 16 wheels properly seated.
As noted in my other picture, the insides of the pistons have been built as thin as possible to allow these wheels enough space to navigate. With the running gear removed it does look a bit choppy, but when it's all assembled the hollow shape is entirely invisible.
It was an enormous amount of work to get this all figured out, but it was well worth it.
