Week 29
Today it snowed! It felt really fun with the snow. It gets so bright when wet leaves covered by a white blanket of snow and the snowflakes clinging to the trees. I will certainly be tired of the snow, but today it made me happy.

Grape hyacinth. The genus Muscari originated in the Old World, including the Mediterranean basin, central and southern Europe, northern Africa, western, central and south-western Asia. It has become naturalized elsewhere, including northern Europe and the United States. They usually have one or more narrow leaves which arise from a bulb. The flowers appear in the spring.
We are finally in full-thaw mode now. Four straight days of warm temperatures; this photo is already obsolete. This is how winter ended.

I had no luck with the EF 100-300. Here I tested it by photographing a target about a kilometer from my location, and unfortunately, a marked loss of detail was noticeable.
However, I've always been quite fond of the series of diesel railcars pictured here, so I've decided to share this photograph taken almost fifteen years ago today.
