Lockdown walks 2021. Looking north on the Ely River towards the bridge carrying the main road from Cardiff Bay to Penarth. A variety of (mainly) pleasure craft lie moored awaiting the return of their owners. A telephoto lens increases the sense of clutter, as do the reflections in the placid waters.
Not my photos, but this unique Rover was spotted by a friend today, and I reckoned it would be of interest to at least some of the spotting community here. I had certainly never seen or heard of such a conversion before, although there are a couple of photos on Flickr of the car at the 2012 NEC classic show. The estate conversion took place in 1971, so really it's quite remarkable that the car has survived all these years!
