Op 16 oktober 2010 brengt de Plan U 114 van het NSM een bezoek aan de lijn die naar de Hengelose vestiging van Akzo Nobel voert. De rit is een initiatief van C-Tracks, dat weer regelmatig excursies wil gaan organiseren.
Het treinstel heeft op de foto bijna het eindpunt van de lijn bereikt en staat nu stil op het wissel dat naar de Akzo toe leidt. Om naar de Akzo zelf toe te gaan, moet er namelijk kop worden gemaakt op het emplacement wat achter de fotograaf ligt. Men kan er ook voor kiezen om de trein zonder omlopen te laten rijden, waardoor gedeelten van de lijn geduwd moeten worden afgelegd.
Het eens zo omvangrijke vervoer van en naar de Akzo is in de afgelopen jaren sterk afgenomen. De enige afvoer vind twee keer in de week plaats. Dan gaan er een aantal schuifwandwagens beladen met zout op pallets naar Zweden. Tot in de jaren '90 reden hier de bekende Armita zout treinen naar het westen en werd de kolengestookte centrale bevoorraad door kolentreinen.

The Grade I Listed Church of St Andrew which includes Anglican, Methodist and Baptist congregations, located on St Andrews Street, in Kirton-in-Lindsey, North Lincolnshire, Lincolnshire.
It was built between the 11th and l2th Centuries with a 13th Century tower and 15th Century additions and alterations. It was restored 1860-62: nave by J H Hakewill of London and chancel by E Christian of Lincoln.
