CARDEÑUELA DE RIOPICO (Burgos)

Iglesia parroquial y retablo de Felipe de Vigarny, el Borgoñón, Siglo XVI.

Este retablo estaba en origen ubicado en la capilla de la presentación en la catedral de Burgos. En 1750 se vendió a la parroquia de Cardeñuela Riopico. Se trasladan a Cardeñuela las tallas de las escenas (esculturas renacentistas) y sus nichos (arquitectura gótica), así como parte de la estructura que se pudo aprovechar y se completó con elementos nuevos de estilo rococó.

Actualmente el pueblo está recaudando fondos para su restauración.
