Koi or more specifically jinli or nishikigoi are colored varieties of the Amur carp (Cyprinus rubrofuscus) that are kept for decorative purposes in outdoor koi ponds or water gardens. Koi is an informal group name of the colored variants of C. rubrofuscus. Several varieties are recognized by the Japanese. Koi varieties are distinguished by coloration, patterning, and scalation. Some of the major colors are white, black, red, orange, yellow, blue, and cream. The most popular category of koi is the Gosanke, which is made up of the Kohaku, Taisho Sanshoku, and Showa Sanshoku varieties.

The Pacific black duck (Anas superciliosa), commonly known as the PBD, is a dabbling duck found in much of Indonesia, New Guinea, Australia, New Zealand, and many islands in the southwestern Pacific, reaching to the Caroline Islands in the north and French Polynesia in the east. It is usually called the grey duck in New Zealand, where it is also known by its Maori name, pārera. This sociable duck is found in a variety of wetland habitats, and its nesting habits are much like those of the mallard, which is encroaching on its range in New Zealand. It feeds by upending, like other Anas ducks. The Pacific Black Duck is mainly vegetarian, feeding on seeds of aquatic plants. This diet is supplemented with small crustaceans, molluscs and aquatic insects. 27222

A war memorial in the grounds of the Grade II * Listed St John the Baptist Church, Scampton, West Lindsey, Lincolnshire.

The church originally dates from the 13th century with the current tower being added in the 14th century. It was substantially restored in 1876 by Bodley & Garner and the windows in the north aisle came from the demolished Scampton Manor House.

Due to the close location to RAF Scampton the churchyard contains many graves of airmen who fought in the Second World War.

Stagecoach runs the only service along the Fastlink, which is a dedicated busway along the north side of the River Clyde - known locally as the Broomilaw - and onwards to the new super hospital which replaced the Southern General - its proper title is the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital. This service actually links the two major hospitals in Glasgow, the other being the Royal Infirmary, as the X19 passes this also. The buses wear a dedicated if slightly uninspiring livery. Seen here is 27222 (SK15HCD), which are some of the only Euro-6 engined Enviro 300's produced before production switched to the Enviro 200MMC.
