Soms volstaat het al uit het raam van je slaapkamer naar boven te kijken om een superieur weerfenomeen te zien. Bijvoorbeeld een perfecte breking van het licht in deze fijne cirruspluim (is een stukje van de circumzenitale boog). Alle kleuren waren perfect zichtbaar.

Union Pacific MDVRO freight emerges from Tunnel 27 in the Tunnel District east of Pinecliffe, Colorado, on June 15, 2001. Leading the train is a locomotive very much at home—UP EMD SD40T-2 No. 8571—formerly Rio Grande No. 5343.
The Southern U class loco No 31806 approaches Bridge 27 on the Churnet Valley Railway. The area either side of the bridge had been cleared of trees and undergrowth shortly before this photo charter and all the logs were stacked either side of the line ready to be picked up. I seem to remember reading an article somewhere saying that all of the track has been lifted, removed and sold for scrap' as this section of the line was not used for public services and only really used for storage of carrages and wagons etc. So it seems this stretch of line is no longer in use for the time being, which is a great shame as some of the best photographic locations on the line are between here and Froghall station.
