Happy Australia Day!
Our National Day - celebrated annually on 26 January, it marks the anniversary of the 1788 arrival of the First Fleet of British Ships at Port Jackson, NSW, and the raising of the Flag of Great Britain at Sydney Cove by Governor Arthur Phillip.
A colonial dilemma.
Australia was claimed for England by Captain James Cook on the basis of the legal principle: "terra nullius", that the land was uninhabited.
Trouble is, the land had already been occupied for the last 65 thousand years. And the cultural traditions of those inhabitants did not include any recognition of the British legal system.

The new arrivals had guns, First Nations inhabitants only had spears. 'Australia Day' is alternatively referred to by some as 'Invasion Day'.
First attempt at shooting fireworks has turned out better than I imagined. It's a great feeling coming out of my comfort zone and with some really good results
This is no ordinary tricolour... this is saffron white and green - the tricolour that gives me a sense of belonging and pride..
Republic Day Greetings to all Indians across the globe.
There are lot of discussions and debate going around nowadays on how men should empower women... so....This republic day I would like to leave you with this quote by Diane Mariechild "A woman is like a circle she has the power to create, nurture and transform" .... so treat your women with love and respect ..and that is all you need to do to empower them ..they will do the rest.

Pink Floyd started to play at 20.30. This scene was around 2 PM - 14.00 Uhr nachmittags. These kids are now all over 70 !!!

Nissan Primastar seen on the A6, Bengal Street, Chorley.
The Primastar is basically the same van as a Renault Trafic and Vauxhall Vivara. The body shell and drivetrain are the same. There are however differences of trim level between the three makes.
