As I mentioned in my post about Nick he brought along his friend Levi when we all went to Bridal Falls early on this season. At that time I got to meet him and chat and we went on a small bushwhack together trying to find a path to the top of the falls. It didn’t pan out but it was fun. I really enjoy people who just do and don’t let small things stop them.
After the whirlwind of a weekend that happened when I met Patrick we managed to get everyone back to the lower mainland by nine or so. I was panicking that I wouldn’t make it back in time to grab a photo, so knowing that Levi lives in Chilliwack and given that Chilliwack is about an hour closer than Surrey to where we were it made sense to plan to meet him. The timing was much better than I could’ve hoped for and in a short time we busted out some killer shots through the glass at Cottenwood Mall. Hopefully the next time I see him will be under less stressful conditions and without any time constraints. It’d be good to get him and Nick together again for a hangout.

I was inspired by various models seen online for building this speederbike.
I wanted to give the appearance of a huge gun with a rider. In fact the nose mounts a large cannon and various targeting systems.
Furthermore, this speeder bike is a VTOL thanks to an underside energy pad.

Today dawned gently, in complete contrast to yesterday's wild winds and waves. The warm peachy glow carried no heat, and my ears and fingers were burning with the cold as I took this shot.
