On a very gloomy Boxing Day, Sanders former Nottingham City Transport Scania N94UD East Lancs Omnidekka type number 124 - YN07 EYX “REMUS” is captured shortly after passing under the Bittern Line whilst heading along Aylsham Road at North Walsham with the above Carrow Road bound journey on Norwich City FC service 3. From here 124 will continue by way of Felmingham, Colby, Banningham, Aylsham, Marsham, Hevingham, Newton St Faith and Horsham St Faith. Apart from the four dedicated NCFC services, no other Sanders services are operating today. Those who know North Walsham will be aware of the low railway bridges and the various alternative routes that high vehicles have to take to avoid them. However, this one does not normally present any problems, unless drivers forget to move to the middle of the road.
I had hoped this might have been vehicle 123, the only member of the current Sanders service bus fleet not to appear before my camera, but wait......

Apart from the four dedicated NCFC services, no other Sanders services are operating today and with no let up in the gloomy conditions, Sanders former Nottingham City Transport Scania N94UD East Lancs Omnidekka type number 123 - YN07 EYY “ROMULUS” is seen picking up some of the Carrow Road faithful at the Old Railway Station stop in Stalham whilst operating the above journey on match day only service 11. Having reached this point by way of Smallburgh, 123 will continue to Norwich via Wayford Bridge, Hoveton, Wroxham, Rackheath and Sprowston.
This is the first time that I have captured NCFC service 11 and I was also pleased to get a shot at last of 123, or as City manager Daniel Farke would say “es war ausgezeichnet!”
