First light in Mojave finds a pair of eastbounds, easing down grade towards East Mojave. On main one UP 2570 pilots a Fresno to West Colton manifest, while on main two, UP 1996 (Southern Pacific heritage locomotive) has just come off the Jawbone Branch with empty Trona buckets bound for Skyline, Utah.

These were extracted from a bunch of flowers being thrown out. They are very similar to a thistle to look at with the same kind of structure. It has a lovely purple/blue colour around the base of the head. Thought I would practice Macro with them. Set them up in front of a Christmas Tree with lights on. I tried to keep the subjects far enough away from the tree lights to try and get a decent Bokeh in the background. Also illuminated from the side by an LED light. This is 18 images focus bracketed in camera then focus stacked in Helicon Focus Pro.
St. George's Church is a 19th-century Anglican church in the city of George Town, Penang in Malaysia. It is the oldest purpose built Anglican church in South East Asia.
Indian prisoners brought from India built this Church in a year between 1817 and 1818.
The Francis Light Memorial located in the front of Saint George's was built in 1886 to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the founding of Penang in 1786 by Captain Francis Light.
The structure was built in a complimenting style of Georgian-Palladian, reflecting the style of the church building.
