Lucy and I played under a cherry blossom tree in the sun today. There's only a month and a bit left until I'll be done with school forever, I can read whatever books whenever I like, I can take pictures all the time, I can dye my hair whatever colour I like, and travel around the world whenever I have the money. I cannot wait.

At Greenham Common, 23 July 1983, not long after a close encounter with a photographers' open-top bus. The port wingtip of the taxiing aircraft brushed along the top of the bus, fortunately without causing any injuries.
