Illinois Central Gulf Railroad GP35 2543 dead at the Shops in Paducah, Kentucky on June 25, 1986, Kodachrome by Chuck Zeiler. Built in September 1965 as GM&O GP35 646 ( c/n 30273 ) on EMD Order 7794, it re-used the trucks from Alco FA1 trade-in's. It is seen here in the Paducah dead line, eventually it became VMV 3600. It looks like there was a little heat below the cab.
