Treinstel ETR 252 van de Fondazione FS komt als trein 96307 van Milano Centrale (via Bologna en Florence) naar Roma Termini door de halte Sieci, ten oosten van Florence. 15 juli 2022
De elegante en comfortabele 4-delige treinstellen van de serie ETR 250 met de bijnaam “Arlecchino” ofwel "Harlekijn" waren een van de beroemdste treinen van de FS. Qua ontwerp is het een opvolger van zijn oudere broer, de ETR 300 “Settebello" en werd in 1960 gebouwd door Breda ter gelegenheid van de Olympische Spelen die in de zomer van van dat jaar plaatsvonden,
De inrichting deed denken aan een futuristisch, gigantisch vliegtuig, terwijl de panoramische kopeinden van de trein, opgezet als elegante lounges, een 180 graden uitzicht hadden. Comfortabele fauteuils, panelen en stoffering gekenmerkt door een breed scala aan pastelkleuren, zorgden er voor dat het de bijnaam "Arlecchino" kreeg. De trein werd beroemd om zijn comfort en snelheid.
In 2013 nam de FS Fondatione, de historische afdeling van de Italiaanse spoorwegen, het laatst overgebleven exemplaar van de ETR 250, treinstel ETR 252 over, en in 2015 werd met de restauratie gestart.
