May 26, 2018: CSX loaded coal train T742 (Corbin, KY-North Wateree, SC) passes the depot in downtown Cartersville, GA as it heads South on the CSX Western & Atlantic Sub with an ES44AH engine leading the way.
This was taken at Wakehurst Place in Sussex, a beautiful garden that is owned by the National Trust but is in fact run by the Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew. It is full of the most wonderful plants throughout the year and is also where Kew hold their Millennium Seed Bank. I had planned to visit it monthly.
Because of the closure of all these properties and gardens I am having to change my 100x and this is therefore the last of my 25 photos taken in National Trust properties.
The next 25 will be taken in my own garden and I hope I can find enough variety. Of course this was the year we were going to replant the beds and I was going to buy beautiful flowers to photograph to replace the plants that died during our wet winter, but now we are in Lockdown I am unable to do so. We do have lots of daisies, dandelions and buttercups though and I may be able to find some other interesting "weeds" if I can't find enough flowers! But I am so very grateful to have a garden at this time.
Stay safe and take care of all those around you.

Behind these grasses was an amazing, fun and carefree pictorial. <3
it was a bonding between me and the boyfriend because life has been a little bit harsh, inconsiderate and kind of complicated for a while. We had to escape a little and it was really lovely.

I just have to say "Thank You" to all my contacts!! You have been so supportive! You have listened to me when I was in doubt, encouraged me, answered all my questions and have always shown up when I needed that last award to go on to the next level especially in Rainbow. Plus you have continually provided me with beautiful images to admire and inspire to. THANK YOU!!
This is a great photo taken at a great shoot with the FANTASTIC Emily!

Had to go into NYC today to check out the exhibit at International Centre of Photography. I made Nick tag along and we had a lot of fun. It was like 50 degrees out today so other than the 30 minutes we spent in the museum we were out side all day. It was really nice.

The B-25 J served with several Allied Air forces during the second World War. As the J version could carry up to 18 .50 calibre machine guns, it was the most heavily armed bomber of the war. It was also favoured for strafing attacks, carrying rockets along with up to 14 forward firing guns.
This particular build features retractable landing gear, it also balances on its gear completely.
Having seen Madphysicists recent P-61 Black Widow, I realised I hadn't built a bomber since summer 2009. The B-25 I built then wasn't bad, but I felt like having another go at it.
This model is missing 2 of the guns under the cockpit, so can only bring 12 to bear head on for a strafing run. 8 HVAR rockets have also been added to the wings

So, to commemorate both my 3 year flickrversary and my 3000th upload, I give you....
a repost!
I originally posted this one in 2007, but I felt like revisiting it here in the heat of summer. It is still one of my all-time favorites, even after 25 years. This photograph is 1985 to me.
