My daughter tells me I look like an illustration from Poe's "The Tell Tale Heart" in her school book.
Dropped in a camera bag from shoulder height, this lens is damaged. I took this with the camera that was dropped and another lens. Tomorrow will tell if all is lost, or if it can be repaired. I told my son "it is just a lens!" He is more precious than any camera could ever be!!!
no worries :)
I flew back to Poznań today. This time I didn’t feel like taking any pictures from the airplane.
I just sat quietly and read two books for my entire flight.

It gets real in these animated streets! If you aren't strapped with body armor... you have no chance if you run into a Mulk, goblin or troll... Where's my sword... ooooohhhh crap!
Warriors armor and my sweet crest were designed by the Hanvey Armory. Great job Boys!
I went to the eye doctor today - these will be my new glasses once the no-line trifocal lenses get put in.
24/365: Today, we went to Indianapolis to celebrate our niece, Celia's, 5th birthday. Naturally, it was a Frozen themed party, and Celia had her Elsa dress and braid smile emoticon Celia is such a joy! She is sweet, gracious, and beyond her years for a 5-year old. We are very proud to be her Aunt Melinda and Uncle Billy!
I've always found that good weather can lift one's spirits. Today was a wonderful example. Sunshine, weather in the 40's, I've got my window up for heaven's sake!
I'd like to let folks know that yesterday's shot was a reflection of the hellish night/early morning I had leading into that day. The day itself got me feeling better. Sleep will do that. Thanks though to everyone for the support. I will undoubtedly need it again in the near future.
Anyway, this shot is a hint as to where I took my photo tag picture for those of you playing. Enjoy the hunt!
EDIT: Thanks to Kirbz for giving me a better and more appropriate title than the one I originally had.
I recently saw in an article that this is now out of style, but I still like my large bowl of artificial apples. I really like the bright green against the dark wood.
Sunday we rounded up the troops and headed to the City Place Art Festival in West Palm Beach. This guy and his dog caught my eye. It was wall to wall people but these 2 really stood out in the crowd. Hope you all had a nice weekend.
While away I'm struggling for inspiration. I've always liked this decorative accessory but it didn't make for a good image as a whole (too fussy), but as a simplistic abstract I like it! I'm pleased with the faint shadow that was created by using the flash. I used a shallow-ish DoF to blur the patterned blind that was the background.
My parents have their own brood of Chickens which lay far too many eggs for them to eat on their own. Therefore I usually have lots of extra eggs for Sunday morning breakfast. This was all natural light (as opposed to most of my recent photos taken nearer to 9pm).
Germans on the sofa!
Marco is a regular visitor, but i'm pretty sure it has something to do with the xbox. hmmm...
I didn't go walking tonight decided to work on some pictures and place an order for the wedding I had on the 16th.
It was a nice afternoon with temps in the mid 70s.
I was out scavenger hunting today for a tombstone of someone who died in the 1950s or 1960s and did not reach their 10th birthday. This stone was near the front of the cemetery as you can see because that is my SUV in the background. I did walk further in the cemetery just wondering what happened to the children.
Also on the scavenger hunt I was looking for a street sign with the name of a flower. I can't find one!!!
