Today marks the first day of Spring which makes me super happy. I love waking up early and going for walks and taking photos and say hi to everyone walking their pets and saying hi to my neighbour's cats haha.

I bought this t-shirt at Noir Leather in Royal Oak, Michigan. I believe this shirt is for a Belgian industrial band that I like, called "Front 242." It has the number 242 on the front with a design that is similar to some of the design elements that they use.

Heut vor einem Jahr waren lokbespannte Regionalzüge in Brünn und Umgebung keine Seltenheit, gegen Sommer 2023 war es dann vorbei.

De locomotieven serie 242 lijken qua uiterlijk veel op de series 122, 123 en 130 echter zijn ze uitsluitend geschikt voor het wisselstroomnet ( 25 kV) in het zuiden van Tsjechië en rijden daar vooral stop- en sneltreinen en geen goederentreinen. Ook deze loks zijn inmiddels rond de 45 jaar oud en zullen op termijn gaan verdwijnen. Een aantal locomotieven zijn verkocht en rijden voor o.a. IDS Cargo en rijden dus wel goederentreinen. In Bulgarije rijdt ook een variant van deze locomotieven rond (o.a. serie 44) Hier is 242 216 onderweg met een sneltrein vanuit Brno die door werkzaamheden niet verder reed dan Veselí nad Lužnicí.
