Sock trying to decide where the ideal spot for a nap would be, the couch, the floor by the door or his bed.
He settled on the couch for a bit before relocating to the door.

De laatste meters voor de VSM 23 076 en de eerste rijdag van het seizoen bij de Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij zit er al weer op. In het mooie middag zonnetje komt de 23 076 langs de Zwarte Bergweg gereden en zal daarna het station en depot Beekbergen binnenrijden.

The last meters for the VSM 23 076 and the first driving day of the season at the Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij are already over. In the beautiful afternoon sun, the 23 076 will drive along the Zwarte Bergweg and will then enter the station and depot Beekbergen.

Die letzten Meter für den VSM 23 076 und der erste Fahrtag der Saison auf der Veluwsche Stoomtrein Maatschappij sind bereits vorbei. In der schönen Nachmittagssonne fährt die 23 076 den Zwarte Bergweg entlang und fährt dann in den Bahnhof und Betriebshof Beekbergen ein.

LA&L 420 & 433 lead the road train with 23 cars at Linden Street in Avon, NY. Not much you can do with the high mid day sun, but that is when the LA&L runs. I figured I would try the Linden Street Cemetery for some "scenery". I'm sure GSP will approve.
The 23 has become mainly MV operated, here a sight for not much longer, a reroute 23 and a ADH on the 27.

The heavy pressure of the past had disappeared, and the future seemed dim and far away.
