Una comparsa per gli ETR460/463 in Adriatica: con l'orario invernale 2021/2022, con l'upgrade di servizio delle Frecce, le composizioni composte da materiale ordinario che servivano ormai le sole relazioni Venezia-Lecce (E414 ed E402b con Carrozze IC901) sono state rimosse e provvisoriamente sostituite dai Pendolini.
Pochi mesi appena, perché già a marzo sono stati a loro volta sostituiti dagli ETR700 in servizio Frecciargento (diventato poi a stretto giro Frecciarossa).
In foto, l'ETR460.23 in servizio con il FB Venezia-Lecce transita poco dopo l'abitato di Polignano a Mare.
MRS 85062 da Ravenna a San Giacomo di Guastalla (RE) con carico di coils per la G2000 23 di Dinazzano Po, qui in transito nella stazione di Schivenoglia (MN). Questo convoglio percorre il viaggio interamente su linea sociale FER.

We adopted my dog Molly 5 years ago. We are not 100% sure of her age but believe she is about 10 years old now. While she isn't officially labeled an "Emotional Support Dog" there is no doubt in my mind that she has gotten me through some tough times. She is so loving and loyal and truly is a best friend. I would be lost without her. ❤

Success (well, actually a mile or so south of that timetable point, at Cedarville), only about 48 hours later than planned originally....
This recently-repainted beauty, the Norfolk Southern's Reading Company heritage unit (yes, the railroad you take a ride on in the game of "Monopoly") was supposed to transit my area on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.
It would take too long to describe all the things that conspired to delay this (although it would be slightly shorter than "War and Peace", or "Gone With the Wind"), including spending about 24 hours in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania, but here it is on the morning of April 13, 2023, at Cedarville, Virginia, heading up NS manifest train 11Z.
All's well that ends well!

Scritta del Ventennio, citazione di un discorso di Benito Mussolini sulla facciata di un vecchio palazzo in Via Rosini in Lucignano (Arezzo). Immagine da me ripresa nel 2018. La scritta è stata poi effettivamente restaurata nel maggio del 2022. Restauro da molti considerato inopportuno considerato la breve distanza dalla casa natale del partigiano Licio Nencetti, lucignanese trucidato a Talla nel 1944.

The writing was then actually restored in May 2022. Restoration considered by many to be inappropriate considering the short distance from the birthplace of the partisan Licio Nencetti, from Lucignano killed in Talla in 1944
