2007 őszén még rendszeresen közlekedtek répavonatok Lepsényből Kaposvárra, akkor még a 36-os vonalon. Később a dízelezés kihívása és a felújítás előtt a Kaposvár-Fonyód vonal rossz állapota miatt a Budapesten keresztüli jelentős kerülő is jobb opciónak számított. A képen viszont még a szergejes időszak egyik ékes pillanata látszik: a 235-ös dombóvári Szergej halad egy rakott répavonattal Pamuknál Kaposvár felé

When I was running yesterday, this KT Tunstall song came on my iPod. I'd never heard it before, but I thought it was good and that it would make a good picture. At least the picture I got of it in my mind was good!

Another day at home, but off out this weekend to photograph at The Long Road Festival in Leicestershire. View (with a big zoom) out of the front window.
Abellio 8480 and 8744 paint the picture of the current allocation on Route 235. Come mid January, the route will be in the hands of Metroline using new E200MMCs.
A short distance from home takes me int the countryside. Another bleak day but all looks nice and healthy around the farmland!
