DEM1916 YX61EKW seen at Friern Barnet Lane working on route 234 towards Highgate Wood, Sussex Gardens.
Vanwege langdurige werkzaamheden aan het spoor tussen Venlo en Viersen rijd dit najaar tijdelijk de zgn "Westerman-shuttle" uit het Zweedse Malmö naar de nieuwe containerterminal bij Blerick-Gekkengraaf in plaats van de normaal gebruikte terminal in het Duitse Kaldenkirchen. De rit wordt normaliter over het hele traject door TXL gereden, maar omdat TXL niet meer op Nederland rijdt word het deel tussen Bentheim (waar de trein in deze periodes de grens over komt) en de terminal in Blerick uitbesteed aan HSL-Logistik. De trein die veel normaliter niet in Nederland op de trein te ziene trailers meeneemt, reed helaas vaak te laat en jammer genoeg zet HSL voor deze afwijkend (maar niet altijd goed) beladen trein niet een van haar fraaie stickerlocs in (op een uitzondering daargelaten) maar logoloze huurlocs van Alpha-trains/Railpool of Akiem, waarbij vooral de 186234 is ingedeeld voor deze fraaie trein Zo ook op de inmiddels zonnige middag van 27 oktober 2021, toen het weer de Alpha-trains 186234 was die de bijna vol beladen trein naar Blerick mocht brengen. Dit keer flink vroeg zien we de trein hier ter hoogte van Zaltbommel aan de fotograaf passeren.

[My friend Alanna from Portland came for a visit today! We burned things in the pouring rain and gusty wind. It was extremely difficult. And then I had to run wayyyyyyy down the field, chasing our umbrella we were using, as it had made up its mind to go for a journey toward the horizon. Now I'm left wishing I'd picked a much better location for this. But we've already determined we'll be hanging out again soon and burning more things.]
