Donnerstag maritim – Am 30.05.2023 gestaltete sich der späte Nachmittag wieder zu einem maritimen Schauspiel für Einheimische und Touristen am Rostocker Seekanal. Auch das Wetter meinte es gut mit uns - strahlender Sonnenschein, wolkenloser Himmel und fast Windstille.
Gegen 16.30 Uhr passierte der Rohöltanker „WONDER VEGA“ die beiden Molenköpfe und wurde von den Hafenschleppern „VB RÖNNEBECK“, „VB BALTIC“, „FAIRPLAY-20“ und „FAIRPLAY-56“ empfangen und sicher zum Liegeplatz 03 im Rostocker Ölhafen geleitet.
Die „WONDER VEGA“ ist 244 Meter lang, wurde 2005 in Dienst gestellt und fährt unter der Flagge der Marshall Islands.
Aktuell (01.06.2023 06.00) liegt der Tanker noch an seinen Liegeplatz im Seehafen Rostock.
Nun ist die schöne Zeit der Japanischen Blütenkirsche auch wieder vorbei. Hier eine Erinnerung aus dem IGA-Park Rostock.
