Went To The After Hours Night At The Vancouver Aquarium Which For Adults Only And Captured These Two Different Types Of Jellyfish. This One Looks Great Against The Dark Background.
I came across this Mig - 23 within the Riga air museum which is situated right next to the departure terminal at Riga airport. The collection of a couple of dozen former Soviet military aircraft are housed in a locked enclosure. There is a hand written note in a couple of languages that tells you to press a buzzer and pay your 6 euros to enter. Once in, you are locked in with the company of the old chap who runs the museum and a couple of free running dogs.
The MIG 23 was produced in large numbers (just over 5,000) between 1967 and 1985. It had a 1,000 mile range, top speed of over Mk11 and an altitude ceiling of 57,000 feet.
