Yesterday's field trip was a rousing success. The children in my group were accounted for and returned to the school safely though I was exhausted and now appreciate the teachers even more. We ate lunch next to a golf course and one of my daughter's friends found this ball and gave it to her. I told him I would use it for my picture of the day, thanks Lincoln.
Precept 22 is the brand of golf ball. Somehow the word precept was not one I was familiar with until I watched the movie Wonder. We loved the movie so much that we bought the book and "365 Days of Wonder" Mr. Browne's Precepts which was delivered this week. Precept #22 is "The miracle is not fo fly in the air, or to walk on the water, but to walk on the earth. -- Chinese Proverb
I love how this came together for me, lucky coincidences. Do you ever notice little things like that in your life?
LSE59 22 backs down the south approach to the MacArthur Bridge toward its home base at Lesperance Street Yard. Trackwork at nearby Gratiot Tower negated the use of its normal route along the elevated track in the foreground.
