Voici la vue que l'on découvre en suivant donc le chemin qui descend vers la mer, au départ du parking de la Croix des Veuves Située sur la commune de Ploubazlanec...
La Pointe de la Trinité, à Porz-Even, est un site magnifique dominant l'île Saint-Riom.
Construite à quelques mètres de la grève, sur la rive faisant face à la cale de Pors-Even en 1868, la chapelle porte le même nom que la Pointe sur laquelle elle fut édifiée.
Cet édifice n'est pas le premier à avoir pris place à cet endroit. Il est le successeur d'une série de chapelles dont la première fut construite, paraît-il, à la suite d'un vœu émis au 12ème siècle déjà ! En ce temps-là, la communauté monastique installée sur l'île de Saint-Riom faisait régulièrement la traversée afin de se ravitailler sur le continent. Une tempête d'une rare violence leur fit craindre une fin prochaine ; se recommandant à la protection de la Sainte Trinité, leur embarcation fut finalement drossée à la côte, à cet endroit. C'est ainsi qu'une première chapelle fut construite, sous l'égide du protecteur des moines, Alain comte de Goëlo et de Penthièvre. Beg ar C'hastell (Pointe du Château, en vieux breton) ne changera toutefois de nom que bien plus tard, devenant Pointe de la Trinité au début du 18ème siècle.
Bien avant cela, déjà, Saint Pébrel aborda l'endroit après une traversée l'amenant de sa Cornouaille anglaise. Afin de marquer son passage il édifia un oratoire, au même endroit, à la gloire de la Saint Trinité, déjà.
Il n'y eu pas moins de cinq chapelles de ce nom ! Successivement ruinées puis reconstruites, l'une d'elles, édifiée en 1744, au sommet de la Pointe plutôt qu'à l'endroit de son érection originelle, fut frappée à plusieurs reprises par la foudre ! Les superstitieux y virent un signe de l'au-delà et les trois édifices qui lui succédèrent, y compris l'actuel, redescendirent au pied de la falaise.
L'actuelle chapelle de la Sainte-Trinité est un édifice de style néogothique à vaisseau unique construit en granite. Les murs-pignon est et ouest sont édifiés en grand appareil de granite. Les murs nord et sud sont couverts d'enduit et sont épaulés de contreforts droits construits en pierre de taille. Elle est couverte d'un toit à longs pans et pignon découvert à rampants à crossettes. Le pignon ouest est couronné d'un clocher à baie unique sommé d'une petite flèche en maçonnerie. Datant du 3ème quart du 19ème siècle, sa bénédiction a eu lieu le 26 octobre 1868.
Ploubazlanec est une ville au nord du département des Côtes-d'Armor. Située sur la côte du Goëlo, elle est bordée par la Manche, sur environ 19 kilomètres de côtes.

La statue «Veuves d’Islandais» a été inaugurée le 15 juillet 2017 sur le site de Lann Vras. Ce monument à la mémoire de l’écrivain Pierre Loti, est en témoignage de reconnaissance et d’admiration pour ses œuvres «Pêcheur d’Islande» et «Mon frère Yves».
L' ensemble sculpté par Charly Sallé est en granit de Saint-Samson pour la statue et en granit de Ploumanac’h pour le socle! Elle est haute de 2,50 mètres, de 1,70 mètres de large et a un poids d’environ 5 à 6 tonnes. Elle a été réalisée à partir de la maquette de Francis Renaud (1887-1973) en terre cuite patinée exécutée vers 1932. Cette œuvre de Francis Renaud a reçu la médaille d’or au salon des artistes français à Paris. L'artiste plérinais Charly Sallé a reproduit à l'identique l'œuvre en rajoutant une larme sur la joue de la grand-mère "Gaud" et une expression un peu plus vivante dans les yeux de sa petite-fille "Moan". Ces deux femmes représentent les héroïnes du roman de Pierre Loti "Pêcheurs d'Islande", qui guettent désespérément le retour des marins...
Elle est visible sur le site de Lann Vras dans la commune de Ploubazlanec (Plaeraneg).
Elle domine Loguivy-de-la-Mer et le bras de mer entre l’archipel de Bréhat et la Pointe de l’Arcouest.

Pilgrim’s Rest wurde 1873 im damaligen Transvaal gegründet, nachdem man in der Pilgrim’s Creek alluviales Gold entdeckt hatte. In den 1880er Jahren waren die alluvialen Goldvorräte erschöpft, so dass ein Bergwerk errichtet wurde, das 1895 von den neugegründeten Transvaal Gold Mining Estates übernommen wurde.
Die Stadt ist seit 1986 als Nationaldenkmal ausgewiesen und steht seit 2004 auf der Kandidatenliste für das UNESCO-Welterbe. Einige alte Schuppen, verlassene Gebäude und ein kleines Museum mit eingen wenigen Überbleibseln aus der "guten alten Zeit."

White stallion BRC HOG WAP - 7 #30476 departs Vadodara with 38 mins late 22210 New Delhi (NDLS) - Mumbai Central (BCT) AC Duronto Express.. You could see the ALP waving the flag which was used for two different purposes.. First purpose was a mandatory flag exchange with ALP of the freight while at the same time it was for Guard who had waved the flag for instructing the LP to start accelerating as the whole train has finished it's switching.

One of the rare sights which is hardly seen once in blue moon... Fourth Fastest Rajdhani of India, 12954 August Kranti Rajdhani Express making a stunning approach at Dadar behind Medha hotel load equipped Ghaziabad (GZB) WAP-7 # 30527 and thereby overtaking Gujarat Superfast Express which started departing from platform # 5 hauled by BRC WAP-5 # 30115. It was just stunning view of seeing aggressive train making some aggressive move. August Kranti Rajdhani was running late by 6 hours and 15 minutes as it started late from Nizamuddin at 22:45 previous night. It overtook 12284 Ernakulam Duronto, 12248 Yuva Express and was closely followed by 22210 New Delhi - Mumbai AC Duronto Express.

Suite aux restrictions d'horaire sur le réseau urbain bernois, les motrices Vevey Be 4/8 731-742 ne circulent plus qu'occasionnellement sur la ligne 3. Elles sont remplacées sur la ligne 7 par des longs Combino récupérés des lignes 8 et 9 et qui ne sont normalement pas engagés sur la ligne 7 Ostring - Bahnhof - Bümpliz.
La Be 6/8 660 approche de l'arrêt Statthalterstrasse en direction de Bümpliz.

A mammoth 6350 hp BRC HOG WAP - 7 #30510 departs Vadodara with 5 mins late running 22210 New Delhi (NDLS) - Mumbai Central (BCT) AC Duronto Express.To be honest, I still don't know why this Duronto takes 1 Hour more to cover the same distance as same as Rajdhani though having lesser halts.. Clearly it should outscore the Rajdhani but it doesn't..Phew!!!

I’m pleased to present my video # 1299 showcasing one of the amazing battles amongst the newbie hauled LHB trains at cumulative speed of 230 Kmph. Under cloudy weather, fastest locomotive series in form of Vadodara (BRC) WAP-5 # 30089 charging down with honking & towing Ahmedabad bound 12933 Karnavati Express bang at its MPS of 110 Kmph which was perfectly ended with surprising entry of strongest locomotive series in form of HOG enabled Vadodara (BRC) WAP-7i # 30476, zoom passed towing Mumbai bound, 22210 New Delhi - Mumbai Central AC Duronto Express bang at its MPS of 120 Kmph. Enjoy the LHB sound speeding at their best. Somehow my calculation sheet showing me that both these trains were doing above their assigned MPS. Both these trains selected in 2nd phase of HOG operation. Till the time, CLW do not roll out HOG enabled WAP-5, all HOG trains will be hauled by HOG enabled WAP-7. So hoping to see all HOG enabled WR train with either BRC or GZB WAP-7.

Aquired by the Confederate Air Force (CAF) on October 5, 1965 and ferried Boise-Harlingen, TX, Sept. 12, 1966. Restored to airworthy, 1971-1976. First flight as 322210/T, 1976. This A-20 crashed near Harlingen, TX, October 8, 1988 and was totally destroyed.

Accident occurred Saturday, October 08, 1988 at SAN BENITO, TX
Aircraft:DOUGLAS A-20G, registration: N67921
Injuries: 1 Fatal.
THE 70 YR OLD PLT WAS FLYING A DOUGLAS A-20 IN A FLT OF 3 ACFT AT AN AIRSHOW (CONFEDERATE AIR FORCE 'AIRSHOW 88'). AFTER FLYING ON A SOUTHERLY HDG, THE FLT ENTERED A PROCEDURE TURN WHICH INVOLVED A 90 DEG LEFT TURN TO THE EAST FOLLOWED BY A 270 DEG RGT TURN BACK NORTHBOUND. WHILE MNVRG, THE A-20 ENTERED A RIGHT DESCENDING TURN & SUBSEQUENTLY CRASHED ON LEVEL TERRAIN IN A RELATIVELY WINGS LEVEL DESCENT. THE MAIN WRECKAGE CAME TO REST ABOUT 225' FROM THE INITIAL IMPACT POINT. ACCORDING TO A PATHOLOGICAL RPRT, THE PLT HAD SEVERE CORONARY ARTERIOSCLEROSIS & SUFFERED A HEART ATTACK.
The National Transportation Safety Board determines the probable cause(s) of this accident as follows.
INCAPACITATION OF THE PILOT WHILE FLYING AN AIRCRAFT DUE TO LOSS OF CONSCIOUSNESS FROM A CARDIAC RHYTHM DISTURBANCE.
