Steamtown Scranton's 'stuffed and mounted' 4-8-8-4 'Big Boy' sits outside the railway museum on the morning of the 22 October 2017.
Still impressive despite it's poor external condition, the presence of asbestos means that no work can be undertaken on it (even painting) until decontaminated.

De Betuweroute wordt tegenwoordig ook door Lineas gebruikt, met name het deel Meteren-Valburg, waar de Volvotrein richting Zweden normaliter gebruik van maakt. Omdat er op de regenachtige zondag 22 oktober 2017 echter zowel werkzaamheden tussen Apeldoorn en Amersfoort, als bij Tilburg waren, werd de Zweden-express op deze dag volledig via de Betuweroute gereden en zo kon een Lineas 2800 worden vastgelegd op het deel tussen Meteren en Kijfhoek. Terwijl de zon net kortstondig tussen de buien door piept is het de van E-drivers reclame voorziene 2843 die met trein 44570 uit Malmo naar Belgie ter hoogte van Vuren de fotograaf passeert. De trein zal na kopmaken op Kijfhoek verder doorgaan naar Antwerpen.

Montag maritim – Der Shuttle-Tanker „ALTERA WIND“ verlässt am 16.10.2022 gegen 11.45 Uhr den Rostocker Seekanal in die freie Ostsee mit Kurs Skagen (Dänemark). Vier Hafenschlepper waren vonnöten, um den 245 Meter langen Tankriesen von der Pier zu bekommen.
Die „ALTERA WIND“ kam am 15.10.2022 kurz nach Mitternacht in Rostock an und brachte Rohöl aus Stura in Norwegen für den Import. Der Tanker wurde 2021 in Dienst gestellt und fährt unter norwegischer Flagge.
Aktuell (17.10.2022 07.00 Uhr) befindet sich der Tanker noch im Kattegat – soll aber um 11.00 Uhr am Ziel Skagen eintreffen.
