The tree in the background is a white poplar, it has light velvety silver leaves. I really liked the contrast with the red of the berries.

Русский угол «в чашу» («в обло»), этим брёвнам более 300 лет!
На пике развития деревянного домостроения в России и Белоруссии самым распространённым видом угловой врубки была «чаша». Это один из самых древних и практичных видов рубки.
Угол «в чашу» - это угол с остатком. Концы брёвен выступают за пределы стен сруба на 20 - 30 см (1 – 1,5 диаметра бревна). Углы с остатком более практичны, чем без остатка, тёплые и не продуваемые.

Russian corner "into the bowl" ("into the oblo"), these logs are more than 300 years old!
At the peak of the development of wooden house construction in Russia and Belarus, the most common type of corner cutting was the "bowl". This is one of the most ancient and practical types of logging.
The angle "into the bowl" is the angle with the remainder. The ends of the logs protrude beyond the walls of the log house by 20-30 cm (1 – 1.5 diameter of the log). Corners with a remainder are more practical than without a remainder, warm and windproof.

Церковь святого Николая Чудотворца (1696 г.).
Церковь, построенная вместе с колокольней в 1696 году – типичный представитель архитектуры Прионежского региона, ей присущи все признаки, характерные для шатровых храмов этого типа. Храм остался единственным образцом шатрового типа, принадлежавший прионежской школе.
Основной сруб – нижний восьмерик (восьмигранник в плане).
Купол над высоким восьмериком вздымается на 32 метра, что весьма высоко, если учитывать, что тот же Казанский собор возвышается над Невским проспектом в Санкт-Петербурге на 71 метр.
Многие знают храм в Кижах, а этот на 20 лет его древнее (и на 7 лет старше города на Неве)!

The church, built together with the bell tower in 1696, is a typical representative of the architecture of the Prionezhsky region, it has all the features characteristic of tent temples of this type. The temple remained the only example of a tent type, which belonged to the Prionezhsky school.
The main log house is the lower octagon (octahedron in plan).
The dome rises 32 meters above the high octagon, which is very high, considering that the same Kazan Cathedral rises 71 meters above Nevsky Prospekt in St. Petersburg.
Many people know the temple in Kizhi, and this one is 20 years older than it (and 7 years older than the city on the Neva)!
