The approximately 65 Soldiers of the Utah Army National Guard's Second Battalion, 211th Aviation (referred to as the 2-211th) departed Utah on the first leg of their 12-month deployment to Afghanistan Wednesday, June 22, from the Utah Guard's Army Aviation Support Facility in West Jordan.
Pilots and crews of the 2-211th left West Jordan in their assigned UH=60 helicopters bound for Fort Hood, Texas, where they will receive several weeks of training for their assigned mission to transport personnel and equipment in the U.S. Central Command area of operations. Other members of the unit joined them at Fort Hood later the same week.

Student Research Poster Day took place on 5/5/22 from 9am-11am in Insalaco Hall 216-217-218-219. The campus community came out to support our MU student researchers. Students from the following disciplines presented posters: Biology, Business, Chemistry, Education, Medical Imaging, Nursing, Physical Therapy, Psychology, and Speech Language Pathology

The Visual Arts Department and Memorial Union Gallery at North Dakota State University are pleased to present the artworks of the Baccalaureate Graduating class of Fall 2016. The exhibition will be on display in the Memorial Union Gallery from November 22-December 8th. The Gallery will host an opening reception on Tuesday, November 22 from 5-7PM, with an artist talk taking place at 5:30pm. This event is free to the public and all are invited to attend.

Every year, The Visual Arts Department at NDSU graduates many gifted and diverse undergraduate students that go on to successful careers in a variety of professions. The 2016 Baccalaureate exhibition is a cohesive record of the ideas and images that each student has investigated throughout the last semester of their academic pursuits.
OHSU Family Medicine hosted a visit on March 22 from Olga Vysotska, MD, Director of Primary Care and Associate Professor, and Volodymyr Vysotskyi, MD, Assistant Professor, both of the Ukrainian Family Medicine Training Center of National O. Bohomolets Medical University. They were accompanied by OHSU SOM graduate Tetyana Odarich, MD, a senior resident at Family Medicine of SW Washington. The OHSU visit was part of a national tour of several U.S. medical schools and family medicine residency training programs to support their effort to develop the specialty of family medicine in Ukraine. Vysotska and Vysotskyi were particularly interested in family medicine resident recruitment and retention, curriculum development, developing collaborative relationships between primary care and medical sub-specialties as well as medical school primary care curriculum.
