If you're wondering? The fishing trip I had over the weekend with my boy was terrific, but we decided to let all the fishies live. That's how we are framing it, anyway.
p.s. hint for new photogs - if you're ever photographing latex, take the extra time and attach lights to yourself then rearrange them for your desired effect. THIS is the exact same shot after I detached them all. I've mentioned this before, but I use the free ones from Liderc on the MP and they have saved many an otherwise dull picture.

IC SD70 1033 leads CN L536 across 21st Street as the sprinklers on the Lumber Street bridge do their thing.
After being invited in to my love Oriana's beautifully decorated new home - vampire rules apply obvs - I desecrated her marble benchtop with my Agata clad buttocks. She's about to tell me off, I think. I'll steal her coffee when she blinks.

21 miles west of Cumberland MD, the B&O's West End crosses the Potomac River as the Western Maryland's line towards Elkins WV crosses on top of the B&O. It's August 5th 1988 and a SD50/GP38/SD40 tro are leading a westbound CSX train at this location. Further back around the curve is the location of a connection track with WM that was installed when the WM as a main line was downgraded by Chessie's paw. The RR still needed access to coal from the George's Creek area, as well as traffic from the Westvaco Mill at Piedmont.

Here comes the Valpo Dummy! Amtrak train No. 324, the eastbound Indiana Connection, crosses the ICG diamonds at 21st Street, in October 1984. The two-car train consists of former C&NW long distance coaches.
There is a lot of water coming off the moors and mountains surrounding Glen Coiltie following 3 named storms in a week hitting the British Isles. Whilst we avoided the worst of the wind we were hit by a lot of rain and snow which is now flowing down the glen and on into Loch Ness.

Welcome to the 21st century, where sex is free and love is expensive, where pizza arrives faster than an ambulance, where losing your phone is worse than losing your values, where clothes determine a person's worth and having money is more important than having friends or even family.
21st century, where children are able to disown their parents for their virtual love. Where men and women often just want relationships without commitment, and their only "commitment" is to pose for photos and post on social media swearing eternal love.
Where people have forgotten to take care of the mind...

They were a little last minute as I have been really poorly recently, if I could have had more time to make them I am sure I would have done them a little different and probably a bit better but at least they had hats for my 21st!
222003 is an eight car class 222 Meridian and is seen here approaching Beeston on a London St Pancras – Nottingham service, Good Friday, 21st March 2008. Built by Bombardier in 2004/5 as a nine car unit but reduced to an eight car unit in 2006 with the removal of MSO vehicle 60533. This was used to strengthen a four car class 222 unit up to a five car unit. Now operated by East Midlands Trains but still retains Midland Main Line livery.
Portsoy on the Aberdeenshire Coastline was today's destination. I arrived a little early for the job so spent twenty minutes or so having a wee mooch about the old harbour which is one of the most scenic in Scotland, and certainly one of the oldest dating back to around 1550 when Mary, Queen of Scots, granted a charter.
Urquhart Castle, the iconic fortification on Lochness with origins dating right back to Pictish times when it was a high status site possibly visited by Sait Columba. He is said to have encountered Nessie here and it remains one of the most comon sites of sightings of the legendary beast to this day!
Departamentos en Santiago
Es el nuevo paisaje de la ciudad. Pasas por una calle y te encuentras con un edificio de departamentos. En construcción, por entregar o con familias viviendo por 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 40 o muchos años más, siempre los ves en la ciudad. En los últimos 20 años su expansión más que se aceleró especialmente por la “renovación urbana” que durante la década de los 90 comenzó en sectores de la ciudad, específicamente de zonas cercanas al centro.
Las inmobiliarias están locas
Y la construcción de viviendas se ha vuelto de locos en el último año con la “Profecía Maya” del “Compre sin IVA 2015”, a raíz de la implementación del IVA a la construcción (que no es el 19% de alza que supuestamente algunos “economistas” dicen) con motivo de la Reforma Tributaria. De hecho, el alza en el precio de las viviendas está proyectada sólo en torno al 4 – 6% del valor final de ellas, de acuerdo a Bancos de Inversión. Prueba de esta locura son ver grandes edificios de departamentos en construcción por la ciudad.
Y aparecen los “21st Century Commieblock”
No hay ninguna diferencia entre los commieblocks de la Unión Soviética y estas nuevas torres de departamentos que pululan por la zona central de la ciudad salvo por el sistema económico en donde se pensaron. Esta es la nueva realidad de Santiago y no hay atisbo alguno de que se detenga. Si bien la densificación es buena, tampoco hay que hacerla a “tontas y a locas” como en este edificio, cuya inmobiliaria dueña –Su Ksa- está poblando con más y más edificios de dudoso gusto arquitectónico por Santiago.
