Pretty excited to share with you all that I now have a website.
And when I say pretty excited, I really mean that I'm super duper excited. :-)

St. Augustine Lighthouse is located on the north end of Anastasia Island in Saint Augustine, Florida. Built in 1874 of brick, the Saint Augustine Lighthouse is 163 feet high making it the eighth tallest lighthouse in the United States today. Saint Augustine Lighthouse is run by the non-profit St. Augustine Lighthouse and Museum Inc. and is open to the public and visitors can climb the 219 steps to the top for great views from this fun tourist attraction in Northeast Florida.
Funny Story: So, I heard these two below climbing up, talking
loudly and laughing, and I wanted to get their hands on the
curved handrail so they'd be visible. Check. - Only problem; I
had no strap on my heavy camera, and I had to hold it pointing
straight-down for a few seconds, thinking if I drop this camera
it's going to splat on that linoleum-tile floor 75 feet down there!
It was hot and humid, and it felt slippery!?! - Click. Got it. LOL

As we drove back home from my daughter's home - after visiting baby Jackson who's now home - the sun rays falling from the sky were quite amazing.
We carried on down to the beach and yes most of those beautiful rays had disappeared .... managed to catch a few!!

Traffic on CP in Montreal has been on the rise, and CP has started running Montreal-Winnipeg train CP 219. Here it slowly approaches Dorval in the driving snow, where the conductor will get onboard. This train has CP 9712 and CEFX 1035 for power and 146 cars.
White Cat decided to be in my photo today. I love him. :)
Oh, and it rained today, for the first time in 5 weeks.

2014.08.07 - Going home after a photo session... This is one of my favourites of the whole month. One of the things that I wanted to practice the most with this project, asides from other things, was shooting at night, after the magical golden hour. Even if it's not exactly evening, but I wanted to practice capturing the low light, the bokeh, the details and reflections that come along with the lights going on around the city, while the sky is not completely dark yet.
Day 219/366 of Project 365 (Thursday, 2020 August 6 - 88th consecutive daily photo): Leaves of the Common Cattail (Typha latifolia) rise up above the surrounding vegetation along the shoreline of Crescent Lake in Buchanan Township, Berrien County, Michigan.
