MYANMAR, Burma - rund um den Inle-See, Stupas Takhaung Mwetaw (sehr schön am See gelegen) Tar Khaung. Eine gewaltige Ansammlung von über 200 schöner Stupas, größtenteils renoviert .
Die Anlage liegt sehr abgelegen und man sieht kaum Menschen geschweige Touristen hier.

Ein Stupa (Sanskrit , oder pagoda, birmanisch Paya, ist ein buddhistisches Bauwerk, das Buddha selbst und seine Lehre, den Dharma, symbolisiert. Ein den frühen Stupas ähnlicher kreisförmig aufgeschütteter Grabhügel diente ursprünglich der Bestattung von Herrschern in Indien und ist seit prähistorisch-megalithischer Zeit bekannt. Im frühen Buddhismus wurden in einem Stupa Reliquien des Buddha und später von herausragenden Mönchen aufbewahrt; so wurde er das rituelle Zentrum der Buddha- und Arhatverehrung. Der Stupa wird von Buddhisten rituell im Uhrzeigersinn umkreist .

The complex is very remote and you hardly see people let alone tourists here.

A stupa (Sanskrit , or pagoda, Burmese Paya, is a Buddhist structure that symbolizes the Buddha himself and his teachings, the Dharma. A circular burial mound similar to the early stupas was originally used for the burial of rulers in India and has been used since prehistoric-megalithic Time known.In early Buddhism, a stupa housed relics of the Buddha and later eminent monks, thus becoming the ritual center of Buddha and arhat worship.The stupa is ritually orbited clockwise by Buddhists.
Beriev Aircraft Company sent their Be-200 to Paris Air Show 2019 (not for the first time) to perform some displays.
The manufacturer hopes to find a new market in Western Europe where the ageing CL-415s will have to be replaced in the future. I would really love to see these cool aircraft soar the French skies fighting against fires.
I was sort of inspired by Prometheus, well maybe a lot. :)

A Beriev Be-200ChS (registered RF-21512) beginning a water drop at the 2007 Al Ain Aerobatic Show, Al Ain International Airport (AAN) in Al Ain, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The Be-200ChS is a Russian amphibious multi-role aircraft designed for fire-fighting, search and rescue, maritime patrol, cargo and passenger transport. In its fire-fighting role it can scoop up to 12,000 litres (3,170 US Gallons) of water in 14 seconds all of which can be drooped on a fire in 1 second. In its passenger transport role it seats 72 passengers.
It was a special moment for me seeing the many snowy owls that had gathered along the dyke at Boundary Bay two years ago. By the amount of cameras clicking they had to be the most photographed snowy owls in the world! Her pinkish coloured feathers on her feet are probably a good indication that she had recently eaten breakfast.

Hey all,
Barely managed to scrape this up. I managed to get this done in about 3 days, so it is a relief to finally get it posted. For those of you who don't know, this is an entry for the MOCOlympics, a tournament style contest on MOCpages that features builders in head to head competitions against each other. This is built for the qualifying round in the category "Ring of Fire". My take on the category is a scene from the movie "Finding Nemo". You can refer to a youtube video to see the connection of this creation to the category.

This build was quite a challenge, As most of you know I usually build plant heavy, castle(ish) scenes, and I hadn't built a city MOC in over 7 years..
So this definitely got me out of my "comfort zone" and looking back now, it was rather refreshing. :)
