Sunday, before driving back home, we walked back to the beach after breakfast to soak up some more sand, sun and ocean. We tend to drive home w/ enough time to do vacation laundry and get whatever house errands/chores out of the way - but we didn't do that this time. :)
Lots of delicious easy relaxing time.

I'm not a hat person. For one thing, my head is really big and it's hard to find hats that fit.
I only have a few hats, all of which are primarily functional rather than fashionable. A broad-brimmed hat I got for my trip to Mexico. Several baseball caps used, well, for baseball.
I've also got a few as souvenirs from travels. I've got a muslim skullcap from a visit to a mosque in Sri Lanka. Somewhere, I've got a Mao cap from our trip to China. Last summer I brought home a Greek fisherman's cap from Santorini.
This is one of my prized hats. I've been a Yankees fan since 1961, and in 1983 I finally made it to New York where I saw the Yankees play the Chicago White Sox. I bought this cap at the stadium. As you can see, I didn't put it away and treasure it. Instead I used it when playing baseball, so it's dirty and sweat-stained. I kind of like that it's been used.
Full disclosure: I didn't actually make Saturday a Hat Day. I only put it on to take the photo.

Last night I finished the 3rd book in the Twilight Saga by Stephanie Meyer, the connection is that the town that the books are set in is called Forks LOL. I'm loving the books, I know that strictly they are for teenagers and I am 31 this year (eep) but I still feel like a teenager at heart and nothing says romance like a vampire and a werewolf fighting for your attentions ;D

-Life is a continues cycle there is up's and down and the beginning of the story lies at the end of another story. It doesn't matter when it will stop, just remember that life need us to go down in order to learn how to raise up. Be safe everyone! :) - poltadifa
