Die Linie 6 lässt den Ludwigshafener Hbf quasi "links liegen" und fährt direkt in die Innenstadt. Variobahn 215 kommt aus der City bzw aus Mannheim und fährt nach Rheingönheim.
Links sind die Gleise zum Hbf zu erkennen. Die Linie 12 biegt links ab und erreicht dann alsbald den Hbf.

This train was all coal hoppers with 33 loads and 18 empties and was giving the consist of DM&IR 212, IC 6264, and IC 6258 quite the work out in notch 8. Great seeing (and hearing) the last maroon SD38 chugging up the Hill. The sound of the non-turbo really brings ones mind back to Missabe ownership.
The 215 is one of the last two Missabe units that has hung on in maroon paint six years after the CN takeover.
