these two snails were eating flowers so I positioned them on the sidewalk for some pics, one of them didn't seem bothered by me moving them and kept eating the flowers I picked for them. Snails may move slow but when hungry they eat fairly fast.
Inspired by the scene at McDonald's - the guy was eating like he didn't eat for weeks, It was really hard for me to take but I wanted to capture something like that a while ago, something like a "recession scene" and all. So, I got home, gave it some thoughts, did a sketch on a piece of a scrap paper, used 8 layers of oil paint and 5 days later just scratched it all off for the texture, the drama and those "wrinkles" - thanks for stoping by
