I bought this netting to keep the birds out of my berry bushes. It turned out to be totally USELESS - the birds found ways to get around the stuff and my dreams of cereal with fresh berries were dashed. Photogenic droplets, many months later, have made me feel better.
19th May 1995. "Abhainn na Coiribe" / "River Corrib" approaching Sallins on the 17:40 Dublin Heuston to Tralee.
Not that impressed with this one. Its fair to say it was rushed. It's supposed to rain all week so I figured I'd do some of the ideas I wanted to do with rain, but all I got was crappy thin rain. And I was running out of time, and light, so this is what I ended up having to use.
I do like the fact it feels like winter again. Even if it does mean the lighting for photos is not as great.

Thanks to the efforts of one rail worker, railfans around VA got to witness UP #2610 lead NS 203 from Rutherford, PA through Virginia en route to its' destination of Inman Yard in Atlanta.

2014.07.22 - Colours found in the neighbourhood!
Al jarenlang is dit een bekend beeld: een vuiltrein die in de avond langs het Apeldoorns Kanaal bromt, op weg naar het station van Apeldoorn. Helaas lijkt er in 2016 een einde te gaan komen aan dit beeld, aangezien het contract voor het vervoer per spoor naar Wijster binnenkort afloopt, en er een nieuw contract is getekend met de vuilverbranding in Duiven, welke geen spooraansluiting kent.
Daarom besloot ik op 29 juni om nog maar een keer in Apeldoorn langs te gaan om de trein vast te leggen. Getrokken door de 203 160 van Locon komt de trein tot stilstand bij het einde van het kanaal, waarna de trein na het bedienen van de overweg het emplacement zal oprijden. Vanaf daar zullen de wagens gecombineerd worden met een deel uit Crailoo en Noordwijkerhout, en onder aanvoering van de 9908 hun weg vervolgen naar Wijster.

monday 4th january; postsecret #39
so today was my first day back at college after the christmas holidays. we started all new topics which of course, are theory! it was a pretty boring day actually, apart from ryan almost fell on his arse on the ice at break and at lunch i spent it with joe (:
after college, ryan and i walked into town and he bought a zoo magazine and a card for his cousins 16th birthday, apparently "/ and then i walked back up, to meet joe, carl and anna at 4pm. we then walked down to londi's to get a pot noodle. they didn't have any forks so we made the pot noodle back at anna's. carl and i shared that and all four of us watched lesbian vampire killers in anna's room.
my dad came to pick me up at 8pm and we took joe home. my mum got a new phone.
