Random rain during morning market which was shocking and soaked me. Came home and hung out with the dog circus. Whomever isn't playing with somebody barks their discontent. It's too much.

El Peugeot 203 fue desarrollado en la posguerra europea y presentado en el Salón del Automóvil de París de 1948. Con un concepto muy vanguardista inspirado en la línea de los modelos americanos de la época, se realizaba así la apuesta de Peugeot para la recuperación de la marca. El 203 era un sedán de cuatro puertas que incorporaba un motor de gasolina de 1,3 litros de cilindrada.
En 1954 se realizó una reestilización del modelo, incorporándose como detalles importantes una luneta trasera de grandes dimensiones, la reubicación de los vierteaguas y la situación de los pilotos traseros en las aletas. La característica más curiosa, novedad mundial, era la disponibilidad de reclinar los respaldos delanteros totalmente y, mediante unos encajes previos de los cojines de los asientos delanteros, convertirse en una cama de dos plazas.
En el terreno deportivo, el Rally de Monte Carlo, la Mille Miglia y otras competiciones europeas, contaron con la presencia sobresaliente de los Peugeot 203.
La última unidad del 203 salió de la cadena de montaje de Sochaux (Francia) el 26 de febrero de 1960. Se habían fabricado 685.828 unidades, de las que 514.410 fueron berlinas, que dejaron el recuerdo de un vehículo robusto y fiable. No tuvo sucesor directo. Su sustituto en el mercado, el Peugeot 403 (que se había creado en 1956), era un automóvil de concepción diferente y de una gama superior, con un motor de mayor cilindrada y potencia y una carrocería más amplia y moderna.

Today while playing in the back yard I decided to do a little mom daughter photo shoot, especially since we were matching. AND no I didn't plan it that way. I actually didn't realize it until a sweet little lady pointed it out at the grocery store. There are a few more in the comments. I wasn't sure which processing I liked the best.

Understated Camelia, this variety has very simple petals & overall its flower is smaller compared with other varieties. I feel it could have been sharper, there was a slight breeze & at 1/80 was a bit ambitious on my part.
Today's shot of the day also coincides with this week's Macro Mondays group theme of Yellow: 22/07/2013.
I'm not sure whether this is a weed or a wildflower - or both! However, it's quite pretty whatever it is, and I think it deserves a wider viewing!
I'm a bit busy at the moment, so will have to catch up with everyone later in the week...

After a-months long closure, SR 203 is back open. Crews have repaired damage from a landslide in 2020. New drainage systems are beneath the road and sensors are in the ground monitoring any future land movement. Re-paved and all lanes are open!
