CHUVAS E RAIOS...

- Sempre tivemos o desejo de conseguir capturar em imagens um raio. Mas não é fácil e não possuímos o saber de técnicas mais amplas que permitam esta proeza com uma captura fantástica, inclusive não procuramos aprender até mesmo por não possuirmos equipamentos que nos permitiriam realizar uma captura mais profissional. No entanto, nada disto nos impede de efetuar algumas tentativas. E este dia foi propício e conseguimos 3 momentos (imagens); enfim, eis nosso singelo trabalho e tentativas neste sentido.

RAIN AND LIGHTNING...

- We always had the desire to be able to capture lightning in images. But it's not easy and we don't have the knowledge of broader techniques that allow this feat with a fantastic capture, we don't even try to learn even because we don't have equipment that would allow us to make a more professional capture. However, none of this prevents us from making some attempts. And this day was favorable and we got 3 moments (images); finally, here is our simple work and attempts in this direction.

SAÍRA-DOURADINHA, Tangara cyanoventris (Vieillot, 1819)

+ A ave é linda, mas o ambiente na qual consegui fotografá-la não cooperou e também as luzes não nos ajudou. No entanto, acredito que a imagem está valendo como registro. Registro este efetuado durande o Global Big Day de 2022, realizado no Parque Ecológico Rego dos Carrapatos, em Nova Lima - MG, Brasil.

+ Esta foto foi na sequência daquela do casal de saí-andorinha, que postei semana passada, a qual foi realizada em uma passarinhada pela Casa Jones, em Nova Lima - MG, junto de amigos passarinheiros. Não tenho gostado muito de minhas fotos não... Enfim, a gente tem de se virar com o que tem, não é?!

+ Pouco a falar, é uma flor bem pequena, bonita, mais ou menos do tamanho da unha do dedo polegar.

PICA-PAU-REI, Campephilus robustus (Lichtenstein, 1818)

English name: Robust Woodpecker

+ Bicho lindo, impressioante o seu tamborilar (barulho que faz ao picar os paus). Se eu fosse escolher uma ave símbolo para o Parque Ecológico Córrego Rego dos Carrapatos (Nova Lima-MG), escolheria ele. O pessoal está pensando no Tangará, mas, sei não, o Pica-pau-rei é imponente e lá ele é fácil de fotografar também. Enfim... Ontem, dia 14/05, foi o dia mundial da observação de aves, o Grande Dia ou Big Day, na língua de seus criadores. E esta foi uma das fotos desse dia, examente no Rego dos Carrapatos. Agradeçendo ao Amaury pela guiagem, sua paciência com todos, seu carinho... Nota 1000, amigo! E também uma turma muito boa, onde revi amigos sumidos como o Almir Brito e sua esposa das botinhas maravilhosas, a querida amiga Graça Brito, o Paulo (espero não estar errando o nome, afinal, os cabelos brancos não ajudam muito; o Paulo encontro com ele em todos lugares: Na astrofotagria, por exemplo -rsrs), revimos também amigos recentes que fiquei conhecendo na Casa Jones e conheci novos. Muito bacana, quanto ao pessoal do Parque, sem palavras, foram sensacionais.

+ Beautiful animal, impressive its drumming (noise it makes when chopping sticks). If I were to choose a symbol bird for the Córrego Rego dos Carrapatos Ecological Park (Nova Lima-MG), I would choose it. People are thinking about the Tangará, but, I don't know, the Woodpecker is imposing and there it is also easy to photograph. Anyway... Yesterday, the 14/05th, was the world day of bird watching, the Great Day or Big Day, in the language of its creators. And this was one of the photos from that day, at Rego dos Carrapatos. Thanking Amaury for the guidance, his patience with everyone, his affection... 1000 mark, friend! And also a very good group, where I saw missing friends like Almir Brito and his wife with the wonderful booties, dear friend Graça Brito, Paulo (I hope not getting the name wrong, after all, white hair doesn't help much; Paulo meets with him everywhere: In astrophotography, for example -rsrs), we also reviewed recent friends that I met at Casa Jones and met new ones. Very cool, as for the Park staff, without words, they were sensational.

ARANHA, Trichonephila clavipes (Linnaeus, 1767)

+ Em passarinhada no Global Big Day, no Parque Rego dos Carrapatos, fiquei impressionado com o trabalho desta aranha. Enquanto, o pessoal estavam focados nas aves, aproveitei um momento para fotografar as teias. A manhã estava fria e a cena me pareceu bonita. Alguém mais viu-me fotografado e aproveitou também para fazer uns cliques. Assim, foram apenas 2 pessoas que apreciaram aquela cena. Quanto à aranha, eu não conheço o nome popular, mas seu Nome científico é Trichonephila clavipes (anteriormente chamada Nephila clavipes), é uma espécie comum de aranha. Vive nas regiões mais quentes das Américas, podendo ser encontrada da Argentina aos Estados Unidos, o que inclui também o Brasil. Suas grandes dimensões, seu formato exótico e sua bela coloração a tornam distinta entre as demais aranhas. Como é comum nas espécies dos gêneros Trichonephila e Nephila, a fêmea é muitas vezes maior do que o macho.[Fonte: Wikipédia, A enciclopédia livre, português.]

+ While birding on Global Big Day, at Parque Rego dos Carrapatos, I was impressed with the work of this spider. While the people were focused on the birds, I took a moment to photograph the webs. The morning was cold and the scene seemed beautiful to me. Someone else saw me photographed and also took the opportunity to make some clicks. So, there were only 2 people who enjoyed that scene. As for the spider, I don't know the popular name, but its scientific name is Trichonephila clavipes (formerly called Nephila clavipes), it is a common species of spider. It lives in the warmest regions of the Americas, and can be found from Argentina to the United States, which also includes Brazil. Its large dimensions, exotic shape and beautiful coloring make it distinct from other spiders. UMA NOITE DE CHUVA E LUZES...

+ O início da noite foi de chuvas... Após elas irem passear em outras bandas, deixaram atrás de si aquele clima bem gostoso de nostalgia distante. De repente, olhando pela janela vi luzes diferentes por entre os prédios, as quais não são normais no dia a dia, porém o momento ficou muito bonito e interessante. Foi o suficiente para se tornar irrestível o impulso de tentar registrar aquele pequenino instante da eternidade do tempo.

A NIGHT OF RAIN AND LIGHTS....

+ The beginning of the night was rainy... After the rains went for a walk in other bands, they left behind that very pleasant atmosphere of distant nostalgia. Suddenly, looking out the window, I saw different lights between the buildings, which are not normal in everyday life, but the moment was very beautiful and interesting. It was enough to make the impulse to try to register that tiny moment of the eternity of time irresistible.

URUPÊ NA CASA JONES...

+ Em passarinhada na Casa Jones, Nova Lima-MG, guiada pelo paciente amigo Amaury Pimenta. Enquanto alguns da turma vão de olhos nas aves, outros em conversê sobre botânica; nós?!, bem, vamos realizando alguns cliques que conseguimos. A turma tem seu "movimento" peculiar de passarinhada que nós respeitamos; então, vamos fazendo o que pode e o que dá (uol). Não dá para parar, enquadrar, estudar a luz ambiente etc... Nada disto, a gente pára, aponta a câmera ou o celular e clique, se ficou bom ou não, somente em casa é que vamos descobrir. (uol) E nesta caminhada efetuamos alguns close-up's, como se dizia nos bons tempos. E um destes clique foi este Pycnoporus sanguineus, Reino: Fungi. Urupê, também conhecido como orelha de pau, é um fungo que costuma crescer sobre troncos de árvores.

+ Birding at Casa Jones, Nova Lima-MG, guided by patient friend Amaury Pimenta. While some of the class go with their eyes on the birds, others in conversation about botany; us?!, well, let's make a few clicks that we can. The gang has its peculiar birding "movement" that we respect; so, let's do what we can and what we can (uol). You can't stop, frame, study the ambient light etc... None of this, we stop, point the camera or cell phone and click, if it's good or not, only at home will we find out. (uol) And on this walk we did some close-up's, as they said in good times. And one of these clicks was this Pycnoporus sanguineus, Kingdom: Fungi. Urupê, also known as pau ear, is a fungus that usually grows on tree trunks.

AMANHECER EM CORES VIVAS...

- Pela janela do banheiro vi as cores vivas da aurora, em tons vermelhos, amarelados, magentas e laranjas... Não consegui resistir ao impulso de tentar registrar aquela maravilha; liguei o celular e fiz alguns closes, mas, os pequenos sensores, por mais IA no processamento, ainda deixa um pouco a desejar ao produzir muitos artefatos em situações de pouca luz.

DAWN IN VIVID COLORS...

- Through the bathroom window I saw the bright colors of the dawn, in red, yellow, magenta and orange tones... I couldn't resist the impulse to try to register that wonder; I turned on the cell phone and took some close-ups, but the small sensors, for more AI in the processing, still leaves a little to be desired when producing many artifacts in low light situations.

- Em uma passarinhada, encontramos este caracol grandão. Foi a primeira vez que vi um destes e, pelo que fiquei sabendo, parece que está ameaçado de extinção. Agradecendo a identificação aos amigos Adriano Peixoto e Guilherme Brandão.
