I overcooked the frozen pizza and caused smoke to come out of the oven

Had a FANTASTIC day at Cauley Square in South Miami where Rivet Nation sponsored a steampunk gathering. We didn't realize just how far away it was, and we almost didn't stop at all when we drove around the square and didn't see indication of the gathering, but in the end we were really glad we did stop and had an excellent day.

Gary and I attended a wedding within a wedding today. Our good friends Ben and Niko got married a the perfect venue during the intermission of a staged wedding play. The play was fantastic and fun as the audience became part of the wedding party.

Diego & Drew Say I Do, the new interactive theater wedding show in Broward Center’s Abdo New River Room, is so authentic that a group of Chinese performers from the Cirque Dreams troupe in the audience were under the impression they had been invited to a real wedding.

From the moment the doors open, YOU – the wedding guests, have the opportunity to participate in the wedding experience, trade zingers with Big Daddy and dance the night away with members of the family. Don’t forget to bring your appetite! The festivities are complete with a Southern/Puerto Rican feast including arroz con collo, shrimp and grits, succotash, wedding cake and a champagne toast!
