Went out last Tuesday for a couple of face-downs, but then the day got away from me and I didn't upload. With only an hour-and-a-half to go, that almost happened today, but here I am. I don't have the time to edit and I don't even have the will power to choose between four similar shots because they all have something that makes me smile, so contrary to my usual modus operandus, I'm uploading all four (but only one to the group, of course). Click on my account to see the other three and smile some more. Curious what your favourite is.

A lamp under my feet. This fungus was about 1/4" in diameter. I like the way the light played off this mushroom. It appears to illuminate the moss that was carpeting this area of the forest.
Monday Morning Challenge: Wild Flowers
Flowers that grow in the wild or just flowers that are a little wild. Lets get out and see how nature decorates our area. If you should be in an area or part of the world where no wildflowers are currently blooming, feel free to interpret the theme creatively.
I admit this is a very liberal interpretation of the theme. Hope you don't mind.
