बाथू की लड़ी
बाथू मंदिर, स्थानीय स्तर पर बाथू की लड़ी, हिमाचल प्रदेश के काँगड़ा जनपद में है। यह मंदिर 1970 में पोंग बाँध (Pong dam) निर्माण के कारण बने जलाशय महाराणा प्रताप सागर में जलमग्न हैं। मंदिर-समूह तक केवल मई-जून में ही पहुँच सकते हैं, जब जल-स्तर घटता है।
उत्पत्ति
बाथू मंदिर की स्थापना छठी शताब्दी में गुलेरिया साम्राज्य के समय की गई, बाथू की लड़ी अंतर्गत मंदिरों में भगवान शिव विराजमान रहे, मंदिरों की उत्पत्ति के बारे में कहानियां लोक कथाओं में प्रचलित हैं कि मंदिर की स्थापना पांडवो द्वारा की गई और वे यहाँ से स्वर्ग तक सीढ़ी बनाना चाहते थे।
पुनः स्थापन
पोंग डैम निर्माण के कारण बने जलाशय एवं सरकारी उपेक्षा और स्थानीय लोगों की अनदेखी के कारण यह प्राचीनतम मंदिर लुप्तप्रायः हो गया परन्तु बाद में पुनः यहाँ शिवलिंग की स्थापना की गई।
एक लाख से भी ज्यादा स्थानीय और प्रवासी पक्षी यहाँ बसेरा करते हैं। यहाँ 220 से ज्यादा पक्षी प्रजातियाँ पाई जाती हैं। 27 प्रजाति की मछलियाँ इस जलाशय में पाई जाती हैं। ये मछलियाँ पक्षियों को भोजन उपलब्ध कराने के साथ-साथ स्थानीय मछली पकड़ने वाले समुदायों के लिये आजीविका का मुख्य साधन भी हैं।

Shatkarma is a set of 6 cleansing techniques of Hatha Yoga to flush out impurities of the internal body. These cleansing techniques are also known as 6 yoga kriyas or shat kriyas.
Chakrasana (Wheel Pose) or Urdhva Dhanurasana (Urdhvadhanurasana, Upward-Facing Bow Pose) is an asana in yoga as exercise. It is a backbend and is the first pose of the finishing sequence in Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga. It gives great flexibility to the spine. In acrobatics and gymnastics, this body position is called a bridge.
In the general form of the asana, the practitioner has hands and feet on the floor, and the abdomen arches up toward the sky. It may be entered from a supine position or through a less rigorous supine backbend, such as Setu Bandha Sarvangasana (Bridge Pose). Some advanced practitioners can move into Wheel Pose by "dropping back" from Tadasana (Mountain Pose), or by standing with the back to a wall, reaching arms overhead and walking hands down the wall toward the floor. Advanced practitioners may also follow the wheel with any of its variations (listed below), or with other backbends, such as Dwi Pada Viparita Dandasana, or by pushing back up to stand in Tadasana

How to do Padmasana (Lotus Position).............
Sit on the floor or on a mat with legs stretched out in front of you while keeping the spine erect.
Bend the right knee and place it on the left thigh. Make sure that the sole of the feet point upward and the heel is close to the abdomen.
Now, repeat the same step with the other leg.
With both the legs crossed and feet placed on opposite thighs, place your hands on the knees in mudra position.
Keep the head straight and spine erect.
Hold and continue with gentle long breaths in and out.
Duration Within 10 to 12 days' practice of this asana, one can maintain this asana for 10 minutes. After more practice this period can be increased to 2 to 3 hours. Sitting for long in this asana alone can make one experience the pleasure of this asana.
Internal Effects As the backbone is kept erect in this asana, its functioning is greatly improved. Dnyana Mudra further helps in stabilizing pulse beats. Consequently strain on muscles is reduced, which in turn reduces strain on heart.
Also breathing slows down, collective effect of all this is one can achieve concentration of mind.
Precaution This asana is very simple and anyone can practice.

Poorna Bhujangasana is a deep backbend where the legs are also raised from the ground with the toes touching the head that is arched backward unlike Bhujangasana where only the upper body is raised and the legs remain on the ground. Poorna (Purna) Bhujangasana strengthens back muscles and opens up the chest.
In Sanskrit “Poorna” means “Full”, “Bhujanga” which means “Serpent or snake”, and “Asana” means “pose”. The English name is “Full Cobra pose”.

Hanumanasana is an advanced seated asana that requires lots of flexibility in the hips, groin, and legs -- particularly the hamstrings and quadriceps. The name comes from the name of the Hindu monkey god, Hanuman; and asana, meaning “pose.” This asana is named as such because it represents the leap Hanuman made from the southern tip of India, as described in the epic poem, "Ramayana."

Dwi Pada Sirsasana is similar to Yoga Nidrasana / Yogic Sleeping pose and is also seen as an advanced version or Koormasana / Tortoise pose. Like a tortoise withdrawing its head to its shell, coming into Dwi Pada Sirsasana encourages the practitioner to draw the attention inwards and focus on the body as a whole.
Dwi Pada Sirsasana is a deep external hip rotation pose and caution is advised to all levels of practitioners when trying this pose.

Lotus Pose is perhaps the most recognized yoga pose today, even by people who don't practice yoga. It is considered by many to be the "classic" yoga pose. Lotus is often used for meditation, and many yoga classes begin or end with this pose. However, Lotus Pose is an advanced pose that is not suitable for those who are new to yoga. Be sure to try alternative seated positions, such as Easy Pose (Sukhasana), if you are a beginner or if you have less flexibility in your lower body.
The Sanskrit word for this pose, "Padmasana" (pahd-MAHS-uh-nuh), is named after the lotus flower, or "padma." In the full position, your legs become like the petals of a lotus flower, gently dropping open.

Halasana is a folded inversion, traditionally considered a finishing pose that may be practiced at the end of a yoga session. As a finishing pose, it helps prepare the body for relaxation, pranayama and meditation.
To begin, lie down on the ground with arms at the sides and palms pressing down. Lift the legs up to a vertical position. Then lift the hips and spine from the floor, bringing the legs behind the head. The toes are then placed on the floor and the legs are gently straightened.
The name comes from the Sanskrit hala meaning "plow," and asana, meaning "pose." Therefore, halasana is also referred to as plow pose in English.
