The Mitsubishi canter blew the transmition, and, because it was loaded, it couldn't be hauled on the companies recovery truck. In the first try, the back bumper was hitting the ground, the second attempt was a bit sketchy but it made it up easily, with the ramps, and in no time it was loaded and ready to go. It doesn't matter how long it takes, the broken down vehicles can't stay on the road...

« Né en 1949 à Berne, en Suisse, l’artiste Rolf Knie est un descendant de la grande dynastie Knie qui a fondé en 1919 le Cirque National Suisse Knie.
De 1973 à 1983, il fait carrière à titre de clown et également comme acteur au théâtre et au cinéma. Au cours des années 1980, il jongle entre ses deux passions : le cirque et les arts. Il débute d’ailleurs en peignant directement sur la toile du chapiteau du cirque familial. Utilisant toutes sortes de médiums comme la peinture, le dessin, la gravure ou la lithographie, les œuvres de Rolf Knie s’inspirent dès le départ de l’univers coloré du cirque : de ses personnages et de ses animaux. À partir de 1990, Rolf Knie se dédie exclusivement aux arts visuels.
Depuis sa première exposition, en 1980, de nombreuses expositions individuelles ou collectives lui ont été consacrées dans les plus grandes villes du monde telles que Paris, Hambourg, Madrid, Los Angeles, Londres et Pékin. »

Met recht kan de Toyota 2000GT de eerste Japanse superauto genoemd worden. Hij is voorzien van een 150 pk sterke tweeliter zescilinder, goed voor een topsnelheid van ruim 200 km/u. Verder heeft de 2000GT een ruggengraatchassis, onafhankelijke wielophanging met schijfremmen rondom en een gesynchroniseerde vijfversnellingsbak. De auto heeft vier koplampen: twee achter plexiglas en twee opklapbare. De laatste zijn bedoeld voor de Amerikaanse markt, waar hoger geplaatste koplampen verplicht zijn.
De Toyota 2000GT is ontworpen door graaf Albrecht Goertz, die in de jaren vijftig de lijnen van de BMW 503 en 507 heeft getekend. Oorspronkelijk ontwerpt hij de auto voor Nissan, maar het management gaat uiteindelijk niet met het project door, waarna Toyota het overneemt. Toyota heeft op dat moment niet de faciliteiten om dit model te produceren, dus worden de ontwikkeling en fabricage uitbesteed aan motorenfabrikant Yamaha. Deze combineert de zescilinder motor uit de Toyota Crown met een dubbele bovenliggende nokkenas uit eigen huis. In racetuning levert de motor 200 pk. Een aangepaste versie van de Toyota 2000GT verbreekt diverse snelheids- en duurrecords, waaronder dertien wereldsnelheidsrecords in de klasse E (1.500-2.000 cc).
Een cabrioletversie heeft nooit bestaan, maar voor de James Bond-film ‘You Only Live Twice’ wordt een unieke open versie gebouwd. In totaal zijn er 351 Toyota’s 2000GT geproduceerd, hetgeen hem tot één van de meest begeerlijke superauto’s van de jaren zestig maakt.

Tras ayer Domingo convencerme para salir a la via a darle caza al chatarrero y a lo que se pudiera aparecer, hoy hemos salido en busca almenos del chatarrero que asi a sido, tambien se esperaba un Logitren y el archiconocido San Roque, pero esos 2 nosotros no hemos tenido la suerte de verlos. Tras estar rato al sol en el puente de sedavi o como popularmente se le llama aqui "El puente de los cuñaos" Domingo y yo hartos de tanta calina hemos decidido ir a comprar unas botellas de agua y mientras estabamos en ello hemos decidido que porque no ibamos a Catarroja, que alli el sol quizas nos lo taparia la marquesina y asi a sido, hemos esperado y esperado a los mercantes y solo nos hemos podido traer el Arco Garcia Lorca con 8 coches, que por mi parte creo que puede ser la ultima foto de este tren, porque viendo los dias tan frescos que hace y que en la via tampoco hay mucho que ver, como mucho le dare caza el ultimo dia en Valencia EN.
