Seems the 2:1 "double square" crop phenomenon is going around lately so figured I'd try it out myself. I am looking to concentrate on a new series of "Great Lakescapes" this year and may continue experimenting with this format.

This crop displays so small I suggest viewing larger on white.

For Octrainber this year I decided to build this 0-6-0T saddle back that was built by ALCO for the Poland Spring company in 1927. It was used as their plant switcher until they sold it to E.J. Lavino and Company sometime between 1927 and 1949. This locomotive’s coal capacity is 1 ton and holds 1,500 gallons of water. It’s wheel base is 10’ 2”, likely making it the smallest locomotive I will ever build.
